Duties of nurses:
Nurses perform a different set of duties depending upon their field of work (position) and specialization in particular field of nursing degree. But nurses conduct the following general duties in everyday healthcare services to the patients.
• Nurses gather various type of information about patient and monitor their health condition and report these to the professionals in details.
• Their job is to assist the licensed professional (doctors, surgeons, dentists etc) for accessing and treating patient’s health problems.
• Nurses work as an important member of a healthcare team and help rest of them to implement nursing plans.
• They give physical and mental support to the patients and maintain a healthy and homely atmosphere for patients.
